This event is open only to members of RITSEC or SSE. Please register only if you are a current member of one of these clubs.
Join RITSEC and SSE for a collaborative project jam on Thursday, November 12, from 6:00PM to 10:00PM in the RITSEC Club Room (GOL-2720), with overflow in the SSE room (GOL-1670).
This is an MLH Hack Day: a free, in-person mini-hackathon where teams build a project in a single evening, then demo it to judges for prizes. Our spin is bringing cybersecurity and software engineering together. Teams of up to 4 will include members of both clubs, so you'll build with people you might not usually work with.
Whether you want to build a security tool, a polished app, or something in between, you'll have a few hours to turn an idea into a working project. Prizes will go to the best cybersecurity project, the best software engineering project, and more, and projects will be judged by industry guests and alumni from both clubs.
Food and drinks will be provided. Bring your laptop and a project idea (or just show up and find a team).
Reminder: only RITSEC and SSE members can attend. Registrations from non-members may be declined.
Locations have different requirements for who can attend. This location is open to the following:
