Event Description

EXCLUSIVELY ONLY FOR DU FOT STUDENTS

No coding experience needed. Just bring your creativity.
Hacktoberfest is coming to DU FOT! Join us for a guided mini-hackathon where you'll build and train your own AI model using Google's Teachable Machine. It runs entirely in your browser, so there's no code to write. We'll walk you through it step by step, so you can learn as you go (or win).
What happens?
-We'll show you how to train a model on Teachable Machine
-You'll build your own idea, with help from volunteers whenever you need it
-You'll present your project at the end
How you'll be judged?
-Winners are chosen for creativity and uniqueness, not for who writes the best prompt. An original and unique model can beat a high effort copy
What to bring?
- Your laptop. You'll need it to train and test your model. Entry will not be permitted without your laptop.

(A note from the host)
This is my first-ever hosted event and I plan to make a tech club after this , so your support and cooperation mean a lot. Come curious, bring a friend, and help us make it a great one.

Happy hacking! 🎃

Our goal is simple: grow together. We believe the strongest communities are built on collaboration, where everyone learns from each other and no one gets left behind. Bhuvan Rai (DU FOT): lead organizer, host, point of contact and volunteer , Parth Gupta (MAIT): co-host, speaker, resource management and volunteer . We're a soon-to-be club, and this event is our starting point. After Hacktoberfest, we plan to officially launch the club and run more events and hands-on workshops. Join us on day one and be part of it from the beginning.
