Join us at the Databricks Apps & Agents for Good Hackathon 2026, a multi-day competition hosted in partnership with OpenAI bringing developers together to drive meaningful change. This year’s hackathon challenges teams to build powerful agentic data apps for social impact using Lakebase, Agent Bricks, and Databricks Apps.

Teams will leverage these tools to build solutions that redefine what’s possible with intelligent data applications. The event culminates in live judging, a showcase of standout projects, and cash prizes for the most impactful and imaginative solutions.

Apply to participate in teams of 2-4. Applications are due by Sunday, May 31 at 11:59pm PST.

This event is part of Databricks Data + AI Summit 2026, and participants are required to attend the conference as well.

Who can attend?

Locations have different requirements for who can attend. This location is open to the following:

Monday, June 15 8am - 4pm
- Opening Ceremony & Hacking begins
Tuesday, June 16
- [Optional] 11am - 5pm: Hacker’s Corner, open collaboration space
- 6pm - 9pm: Judging + Awards Ceremony
Wednesday, June 17
- Winning teams and selected projects presented at Hacker’s Corner for DAIS attendees
