Event Description

Open-source AI is easier to get into than it looks. This free, one-day Meetup is a laid-back way to find out what open-weight models and open-source AI tools actually are, hear from people working with them, and meet others in Toledo who are curious about the same thing.

Expect a talk or two, good conversation over food and drinks, and an optional hands-on session where you can run an open-weight model on your own laptop. Come to learn, tinker, or just hang out. If you want to try things yourself, bring a laptop.

Open to college students, professors, and working professionals. Beginners welcome.

Finding us: Search "Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex" in Google Maps. Free parking is in Area 20, and we'll be at the north entrance.

Hosted by ACM UToledo.
