Event Description

Join Cod3rs and IT Women Esbjerg for a Hacktoberfest Hack Day - a one-day, in person event, celebrating open-source culture and modern tech.

What is it about?
Our goal is to create an inclusive space to work on open-source projects, learn about open AI tools, share knowledge, and collaborate on real code. Whether you are a seasoned professional, a curious student, or a complete beginner without a clue where to start, this is your chance to build and ship something real using open-source or open-weight AI.

What to bring?
All you need to bring is a laptop, a charger, and some enthusiasm. Have an exciting idea? Awesome! Still missing one? No worries, we'll have challenges ready at the door so you can borrow an idea.

How does it work?
Once you have decided which idea to pursue, you get to spend the day turning the idea into a working project. Fuel it with pizza, coffee, and snacks. Submit through OrganizerHQ Challenges and go head-to-head in the Best Open-Source AI Project challenge. First pull request or fiftieth, you're in the right room!

Sounds scary? 👻
Don't worry, even though the event lands on Halloween, there is nothing to be afraid of. You can join ranks with other people, and form teams to help each other (don't let merge conflicts haunt you though). Plus, our friendly volunteers will be on hand all day to help whenever you get stuck.

Share your pics and screenshots with #Hacktoberfest. Happy hacking!
