Event Description

πŸŽƒ Hacktoberfest 2026 @ Hacklab Mikkeli

Join us at Hacklab Mikkeli on Saturday, 31 October 2026, starting at 12:00 for a day of building, experimenting and learning with open-source AI!

During the event, participants will work individually or in teams to build a project using open-source AI tools and open-weight models. You can bring your own idea, join others on a project, or come without an idea and figure out what to build during the event.

You can experiment with things like open-source AI models, agents, local AI tools and other open-source technologies. The goal is to learn by doing, share ideas and see what you can create during the day.

No previous AI or open-source experience is required. Beginners, students, hobbyists and experienced developers are all welcome.
