Join Hacktoberfest 2026 in the 757 for a day of building, learning, and connecting with the Hampton Roads tech and maker community!
We’re gathering at 757 Makerspace’s Hampton location on October 17 to explore, experiment, and create together. As part of Hacktoberfest 2026, this community hack day celebrates open source, with this year’s focus on learning and building with open-source AI.
Bring a project you’ve been wanting to try, explore a new tool, or find someone to collaborate with. Experiment with an open-weight model, tinker with an open-source agent, or see where your curiosity takes you. Whether you’re an experienced developer, a hands-on maker, or just getting started, there’s room to learn and contribute.
- When: October 17, 2026 · 10 AM–4 PM
- Where: 757 Makerspace · Hampton
- Bring: A laptop, charger, and curiosity. A project idea is welcome, but optional!
Come meet fellow builders from across the 757, share what you know, and make something together.
