Event Description

Join us in Bengaluru on October 4 for a day of building, experimenting, and learning with open-source AI.

Hacktoberfest Hack Day is a hands-on mini-hackathon where developers come together to explore open-source AI tools, collaborate on ideas, and ship projects by the end of the day. Whether you’re already building with open-source AI or just getting started, come meet fellow builders, learn something new, and build together.

Who can attend?

Locations have different requirements for who can attend. This location is open to the following:

Schedule

  • 10:00 am: Check-in opens
  • 11:00 am: Opening ceremony
  • 11:30 am: Hacking period begins
  • 05:30 pm: Hacking period ends
  • 07:00 pm: Closing ceremony and prize ceremony

Aditya Oberai is the Developer Relations Lead at Appwrite and an avid tech community and open-source enthusiast. Having worked with various technologies such as APIs, web and cross-platform apps, cloud computing, etc., he has spent the last 6 years empowering tech communities and is currently an active Microsoft MVP and DigitalOcean Wavemaker. Aditya was the National Winner in the Education category at Microsoft Imagine Cup 2021 India Chapter and was named among Major League Hacking's Top 50 hackers of 2021. He has been awarded "Best Developer Relations Professional of the Year" at the CMX Community Industry Awards 2024 and was a core organizer of DevRelCon Bengaluru 2024.
