Event Description
Join us for Myrtle Beach’s first in-person Hacktoberfest Hack Day, hosted in partnership with eMYRge!
This year’s theme is “AI Belongs to Everyone.” Whether you’re an experienced developer, just getting started, curious about AI, or simply have an idea you want to explore, you’re invited to join us.
Have a project in mind? Bring it! Hack Day is a chance to spend dedicated time building, experimenting, contributing to open source, and learning alongside other members of the community.
Don’t have a project yet? That’s completely fine. We’ll set aside time during the event to help connect individuals with teams and projects, making it easy to find something that matches your interests and skills.
You don’t need to be an AI expert, and you don’t need to show up with a fully formed idea. Come ready to learn, collaborate, and make something.

Who can attend?
Locations have different requirements for who can attend. This location is open to the following:

Event Schedule
10:00 – 10:15 AM | Check-In & Registration
Arrive, get settled, and meet fellow hackers.
10:15 – 10:30 AM | Welcome & Opening
Kick things off with event announcements, an overview of the day, and recognition of our partners and community supporters.
10:30 – 11:00 AM | Project Pitches & Team Formation
Have a project idea? Pitch it to the room and let others know what skills you’re looking for. Don’t have a project yet? This is your chance to find a team and jump in!
11:00 – 11:30 AM | Workshops & Learning Sessions
Take part in short, hands-on workshops and sessions led by our technology partners and community members.
11:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Hack! 💻
The main event! Build, experiment, collaborate, learn, and contribute. Work with your team, explore new technology, and bring your ideas to life.
6:00 – 6:30 PM | Judging
Teams wrap up their projects and present their work to our judges.
6:30 – 6:45 PM | Winners & Project Presentations
Celebrate the winning teams and hear a quick presentation from each winner about what they built.
6:45 – 7:00 PM | Closing Ceremony
Wrap up the day, celebrate everything the community accomplished, and say our final goodbyes.
