Event Description
Hacktoberfest México 2026, hosted by Mobil3 in partnership with Major League Hacking (MLH), is a one-day Hack Day bringing together 150 developers, AI builders, founders, open-source contributors, and technical students in Mexico City.
As part of Hacktoberfest 2026, this year's event focuses on open-source artificial intelligence, open-weight models, and the tools that make it possible to build with them.
Participants will have seven focused hours to experiment, collaborate, and build applications, AI agents, automations, developer tools, and open-source projects. The day includes technical workshops, mentorship, partner challenges, developer tooling, APIs, credits, food, drinks, merch, and prizes.
Confirmed ecosystem partners include n8n, Miro, Lovable, Backboard, and the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF).
The event is intentionally limited to 150 participants, creating a focused environment where builders can learn from each other, work directly with new technologies, contribute to open source, and ship something in a single day.

Schedule
Morning :
Kickoff & Build
Doors open, participants meet fellow builders, explore the challenges and tools, and get started on their projects.
Midday:
Technical sessions from ecosystem partners, mentor support, lunch, and continued building.
Afternoon:
Dedicated time to develop, experiment, collaborate, and bring projects to life with access to mentors and partner technology.
Evening:
Demos & Awards
Teams showcase what they built, followed by judging, prizes, closing remarks, and a community gathering.
