Event Description
Spend a day turning ideas into working projects at Hacktoberfest Hack Day Dhaka, a hands-on mini-hackathon focused on open-source AI. Explore open-source tools and open-weight models, build with your team, and connect with fellow developers from the local community.

When: Sunday, October 18, 2026, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Bangladesh time, UTC+6).
Where: EMK Center, Level 6, Grand Delvistaa, CES(A) 1/A, Road 113, Gulshan Avenue, Dhaka 1212.
Bring your laptop, charger, and an idea you would like to explore. Come ready to build something, learn from each other, and celebrate open source.
About the organizers
Organized by UniDevs, a student-led community supporting developers across Bangladesh through hackathons, open source, and collaborative learning, together with Taseen Tanvir (taseentanvir.com), a developer and AI community organizer in Bangladesh.

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Check-in & Registration
Participant check-in, attendance, and settling in.
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM | Opening Session
Welcome address and opening remarks
Introduction to Hacktoberfest Hack Days
Event overview, rules, and expectations

Technical session 1
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM | Session 2
Technical session, workshop, or guest presentation.
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Hacking Begins
Teams start building their projects with support from the organizers and volunteers.
1:00 PM – 1:50 PM | Lunch & Prayer Break
Lunch will be served. Participants can also use this time for prayers and a short rest.
1:50 PM – 2:00 PM | Return & Setup
Participants return to the room and prepare to resume hacking.
2:00 PM – 3:45 PM | Final Hacking Session
Teams continue working on their projects and prepare their final submissions.
3:45 PM SHARP | Submission Deadline
All project submissions must be completed by this time. No extensions or late submissions will be accepted.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Project Presentations & Judging
Teams present their projects to the judges. While teams are waiting for their turn, they may step outside to grab snacks provided by the organizers.
