Event Description

Don't just learn AI. Build with it.

Infinity Hack Day is a high-energy, 7-hour sprint where you'll turn ideas into intelligent applications using Google's Gemini API. This isn't another tutorial session—it's a hands-on builder's playground where creativity meets cutting-edge AI.

What makes this different?

  • Build first, learn fast: Start coding within the first hour with Gemini API
  • Working prototypes: Walk away with a functional project, not just slides
  • Pre-hackathon warm-up: Perfect training ground before Infinity CodeWave 2026 (April 24-25)

Who should attend?

Whether you've never touched an API or you're a seasoned developer curious about Gemini's multimodal capabilities, this event meets you where you are. We've designed challenge tracks for first-timers ("I want to try AI") all the way to advanced builders ("I want to push Gemini's limits").

What you'll build:

Choose your path:

  • Intelligent Tools Track: Build AI assistants that solve everyday problems—study helpers, content analyzers, code reviewers
  • Multimodal Magic Track: Combine text, images, and data—visual Q&A systems, document intelligence, creative generators
  • Creative Solutions Track: Apply AI to real-world challenges—education tools, accessibility apps, productivity boosters
  • Wildcard Track: Break boundaries—if it uses Gemini creatively, build it

Why February 27th matters:

This is your chance to experiment with Gemini in a supportive, high-energy environment before the main 24-hour hackathon. Learn the API, make mistakes fast, find your team, and discover what's possible—all in one intense day.

The fine print:

  • Free to attend
  • Free Lunch included (11 AM - 12 PM)
  • Free Swags
  • Teams of 1-2 people
  • Best projects win prizes + get featured at April's main event
  • MLH Code of Conduct applies

Ready to build something surprising? See you on the 27th.
