Join our virtual Hacktoberfest celebration, an event designed to demystify the world of open source! If you've ever been curious about contributing to projects but didn't know where to start, this is for you. Our core mission is education and empowerment, not just code.
This online gathering will feature a series of interactive workshops focused on the fundamentals. We'll cover essential topics such as:
- An introduction to the open-source philosophy.
- Mastering the basics of Git and GitHub for collaboration.
- How to find welcoming projects and "good first issues."
- The anatomy of a pull request: from fork to merge.
- An invitation to start making your own PR!
You’ll connect with the genai community of fellow learners in a supportive environment. Our goal is for you to leave with the confidence and skills to make your meaningful contribution, explore new AI open source projects and share how useful can be for your career!
