This event is open to anyone 10-18 years old.
Hack the Grid is a STEM-first approach to improving our cities. Hack the Grid combines a typical hackathon with an ideathon, so participants need zero coding knowledge to participate. Participants will come up with ideas (whether it's through code or otherwise) to improve their city, while having the opportunity to attend multiple workshops. At workshops, participants will be able to learn coding, as well as explore different topics such as data science.

9:45 AM - 10:15 AM Arrival
10:20 AM - 10:50 AM Opening Ceremony
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Intro to Python
1:00 PM Lunch
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Machine Learning Workshop
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Data Science workshop
4:30 PM Groups are called for judging
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM Awards + closing ceremony
